This is a special programme, where the guides and scouts age 16-23 spend time away from their group and live at their own campsite, where they are given activities away from the rest. This is where we strive to keep guiding/scouting alive in the older guides/scouts as well as giving them some time to work on their guiding/scouting.

Arriving by train: You can go by train to either Tolne Station (3 km hike from the Jamboree) or Sindal Station (around 6 km hike from the Jamboree). If you prefer to arrive by train, we will gladly pick up your luggage and camping gear. Please contact the Administration Committee for more info.
Foreign guides/scouts arriving by plane to Aalborg are welcome to contact the Administration Committee as well. We will help either book a bus or use public transport to the Jamboree. This needs to be agreed upon in good time.
Transport to/from the jamboree is not included in the jamboree price.
Eating at the Jamboree
Vendelbo Jamboree has a good deal with the local supermarket “Dagli’ Brugsen” in Mosbjerg, which is close to the jamboree site. Here, you can do your group’s shopping daily. Each group will have an account. The group, therefore, has free choice on what food etc. to buy.
The Jamboree has freezers for freezing ice packs to use in the camp. Each day you can switch ice packs, to store, e.g. milk in camp.
Vendelbo Jamboree has a candy stall, which is open each day at the jamboree. Here, the guides/scouts/parents/leaders and visitors can buy candy, crisps, soft drinks etc.
You can buy clothes with the jamboree logo. All groups will receive a login to our supplier’s system. We deliver all ordered clothes at Vendelbo Jamboree, where your group can pick it up. Buying clothes at the jamboree is an option, but we recommend that you place your order from at home.
